Creating materials for energy storage technologies to power the future.

The world is consuming energy at an ever-increasing rate, driving the need for safer, more efficient ways of powering our homes, cars, devices, and more.

To meet the current demand for alternative forms of energy, PIDC develops innovative materials and nano powder formulations for batteries and fuel cells, paving the way for the future of fuel cells for automotive and stationary power generation. In other words, we’re supplying the ability to sustainably power our planet for generations to come.

Fuel-cell technology is an important advancement to help supply tomorrow’s energy needs, offering benefits such as high-quality power, flexibility, and simplicity, while simultaneously retaining modularity and scalability. Our high-performance materials are designed to further innovate the battery and fuel-cell industry, utilizing our technical and human resources to optimize materials according to individual formulations required by our customers.

PIDC’s technologies also provide coatings and materials that help make lights work more efficiently and reduce emissions of greenhouse gases and air pollutants. The company’s research team develops and supplies new cost-efficient coatings and nano powders that allow lights to burn or reflect brighter, last longer, and use less energy.  In addition, we have new, proprietary formulations under development.

Also, you can find our materials in rotors of wind power generators and may soon see our technologies in everyday display items, such as flat-screen televisions and computers, increasing light intensity while lowering energy output.

PIDC’s energy storage solutions support a wide variety of industries, including:

  • Automotive
  • Electronics
  • Alternative Energy

Our materials can be customized to support many energy storage applications and processes, including:

  • Batteries
  • Fuel Cells/Hydrogen Storage
