Wei Wu

Wei Wu is President and Chief Executive Officer of Pacific Industrial Development Corporation (PIDC). He founded PIDC in 1992 and is responsible for growing PIDC into a leading global advanced material company. He has been named a “Michigan Entrepreneur of the Year,” and has previously led PIDC to a #1 ranking in Michigan and #62 nationwide on the Inc. 500 list of America’s fastest-growing companies.

Prior to founding PIDC, Wei served in sales engineering and product development engineering positions for GM and Freudenberg-NOK. He earned his Master of Science in Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Tsinghua University, Beijing.
